Topics covered include: The course is interactive and collaborative, using a mix of slides, videos, group discussions, and practical activities to suit a variety of learning styles. Confidence to provide initial support to someone in mental distress A better understanding of common mental health conditions A Public Health Scotland Certificate of Attendance A comprehensive manual for future reference New tools and knowledge to support colleagues, friends, family, and community members • To preserve life Important note: This course is not counselling or therapy training.
